I’ve negotiated contracts for theatre shows, million dollar software purchases and income tax payment plans with irate citizens. I know problems, and more importantly, I know how to unravel problems into solutions that work.
On a freelance basis, I can work with you to
- develop strategies for your next big negotiation;
- figure out the best way to talk with a client or collaborator you’re having issues with;
- map out a plan to save a negotiation that’s going south; and
- work on improving your negotiation skills in a fun and non-intimidating atmosphere.
I also teach negotiation seminars now and then. I prefer a class of at least four and an even number of students works best.
Rates are based on the type and amount of consulting you want. We’ll talk about the rate and time commitment up front so there won’t be any surprises along the way. I really enjoy working with artists, authors, freelancers and small non-profits, so I work hard to make sure my rates are affordable for the self-employed.
